Proposed  Projects for Hagerman Valley’s Future

The Foundation is interested in the ideas and proposals you may have for the future of our community and in welcoming visitors.  Please contact the Foundation at your earliest convenience.

Broadband Internet for rural Gooding County:  It shouldn’t matter where you live; high-speed Internet is essential for the 21st century.  The Foundation is starting to promote and organize the community education, create the needed partnerships with community organizations and anchor institutions such as schools, libraries, and healthcare facilities, to generate the buy-in of the potential benefits for everyone that is required to achieve fiber build-out success throughout Gooding County.

New Corrected Street Signs for USPS, Title and Emergency Services:  Evidently about 5 years ago, when the street signs were updated, they were incorrect.  This has caused major problems for title insurance companies, the post office and emergency services.  We are seeking donations to fund new signs for Hagerman’s streets.

Hagerman City Sidewalks:  The Foundation is working with the City to apply for grants to pave ADA compliant State street sidewalks, then improve the city lights and beautification. We are working closely with the City Supervisor in coordinating a master overview of the city park, parking lots, the bike path and other efforts by the city and other organizations.  We are seeking donations to raise matching funds for this project.
